SideCue — Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 11, 2026

The short version

SideCue does not collect any data. Period.

Your notes never leave your Mac. They are stored locally and are never transmitted anywhere.
SideCue makes no network requests. There are no analytics, no tracking, no ads, no third-party SDKs.
There is no account and no sign-in.
Purchases are processed entirely by Apple through the Mac App Store. We never see your payment information.
The optional onboarding demo captures one image of your own screen, on your device, solely to show you that the notes window is excluded from screen capture. That image is displayed to you and never stored or transmitted.

If this policy ever changes, the new version will be posted at this address with an updated date.
